Four generations of my family experienced psychological and physical abuse and inflicted it on one another. Violence experience changes our personality, suppresses, destroys and affects our future life. The Church and the government in Russia advocate for non-intervention in a private family life. But it is difficult to cope with abuse without support. An adult or a child are left alone with a sense of vulnerability, insecurity and loneliness. The law against domestic violence hasn’t been adopted in Russia for the present time (2022).
